What's the Easiest Way To Make A Sale Online?

The problem with selling a product on the Internet is that not only do you need to spend time and money on product development, page design, marketing, sales letters, ads and affiliate promotions, but you also need to make sure that you're attracting customers who want to buy your product.

After all, hundreds of people might look at your site every day, but only a tiny fraction of them might consider buying your product.

That's because, unlike retail shopping, the customer cannot see or try your product without paying for it first. So either you need to find a lot of customers who will trust you very quickly, or you have to find customers who are already in the mood to make a purchase. And that's the hardest part.

Just think of the last time that you were shopping online. You probably had more reservations about getting your wallet out and using your credit card than if you found the product in a store.

Luckily, there's a way around this. You can find customers who are interested in the kind of product that you sell and are already in a buying mood. And it won't cost you a cent.

The Kindle Publishing System

Selling eBooks on Amazon is easier than ever
If you can write, you can make money. Sounds too good to be true, doesn’t it? Well, it’s not. Any writer can publish an eBook and sell his or her own, unique work on Amazon.com and thanks to the Kindle, this is now more lucrative than ever!
In order to sell your work on Amazon, you must:
  • Own the rights to your book and be willing to account for all content as unique and written by you.
  • Supply an ISBN (International Standard Book Number), which can be purchased as a self-publisher at ISBN.org.
And here’s the great news. In July 2010, Amazon reported that electronic copies of books are now outselling hard copies. Thanks to the Kindle, Amazon is now in the business of selling ebooks and doesn’t appear to be looking back any time soon. In fact, eBooks are the way of future… and the present.
So, why not take advantage of not only this wildly lucrative opportunity to sell your content through Amazon, but to also ride the coattails of the popularity and increasing trend of digital books?
Selling your content on Amazon is now easier than ever, and according to their statistics, the desire for electronic content is growing like wildfire. Don’t miss out on this revenue stream. Take advantage of it! Whether you are an experienced writer or never written an eBook before in your life, now is the time to try. The opportunity is there. You just have to take it.

Creating a blog with Google Blogger in only five minutes! Who knew? Before you start, you should know what your plan is...

  • Choose what type of blog you want to create and make sure it reflects your goals while providing value to your target audience.
  • Decide how often you are going to post, how often you post is based on the reader audience you have.
  • Get some things together before hand, know the first 5 things your are going to post. There's nothing sadder than an empty blog.
  • Have a logo and an idea of your main colors.
  • Start building your blog

    Writing for a blog

You have a blog, now what?
  • The power of titles- the title can make or break your blog. It impacts what comes up in search engines and bookmarking sites.
  • The Viral Nature of Lists- lists will probably get more attention then essays.
  • The importance of being original- other are drawn to people who speak their mind and who are different and unique to other bloggers.

What is a Blog?

Believe it or not, an answer to a simple question, “what is a blog?” can be hard to find on an “A-list” blog. They’re usually too busy telling you about what they ate for lunch, or trying to sell you some bullshit affiliate product.
Definition of a Blog:
According to wikipedia.com:
“A blog (a contraction of the term web log) is a website, usually maintained by an individual, with regular entries of commentary, descriptions of events, or other material such as graphics or video. Entries are commonly displayed in reverse chronological order. “Blog” can also be used as a verb, meaning to maintain or add content to a blog.”
Traditional blogs started out as personal diaries, and still to this day, that’s what most people (who aren’t on the internet much) understand a blog to be. The fact is, the term “blog” can mean a whole lot these days. Here are a few examples of a variety of blogs:
  • simple tips to make life easier
  • personal journey and guide to fitness
  • men’s online magazine
  • reviews of tech toys
  • ramblings
  • guide to blogging
  • parody blogs of popular bloggers
The list goes on. So…
What is a blog?
The simplest way to put it; a blog is a website, that has content updated on an ongoing basis. This content can be in the form of articles, photos, artwork, drawings, etc. The latest trend, is to post videos instead of writing the content, commonly referred to as a vlog or video blog.
Content is usually posted in reverse chronological order (visitor sees newest updates first). Blogs tend to attract regular readers, who are interested in not only viewing the latest updates, but also being able to comment, and interact with the author, to share their thoughts and opinions.
This creates a discussion, between the author and the readers, and the readers themselves. Interaction is one of the reasons why blogs have become mainstream over the last few years. Ever read an article in a magazine, and wanted to discuss it further?
Most blogs also offer a way for readers to subscribe via RSS, allowing them to stay up-to-date with the latest content.
Still confused and don’t understand what a blog is?
What is a weblog? What is blogging? What is a blogger? What is the blogosphere?
As mentioned in the definition of a blog above, a weblog is just another name for a blog. Same idea, different terminology. Hopefully, you’re starting to catch on by now…hopefully.
But just in case; I’ll continue to explain the obvious. Blogging is to maintain or add material to a blog. In other words, instead of saying “I’m writing an article for my blog” you’d say “I’m blogging.”
The author of a blog would be considered a blogger.  However, a blog that has multiple authors, usually refers to their writers as editors or contributors. It’s really all the same.

It just comes down to what you want people to view your site as, a blog, or an online magazine. To some, magazine sounds more legit, and they’re probably right. Again, a lot of people still view blogs as personal journals, nothing more.
A sphere can be defined as a particular social world, therefore the blogosphere is the collective community of all the blogs on the internet.

Lose Money without Having Knowledge

Many people join in online programs and lose money because they simply jump in without having the knowledge of how things work. They are hyped by quick money, and false hopes that money will just simply knock on their doors. When they realize it is not like as they hoped for, they whine and blame other people.

Some may say “I’m a risk taker, but not a fool.” Yes, many people are still negative about online business. This is due to the many scam sites and people who take advantage of other’s ignorance. That’s why it’s important to learn.

In any business, especially online programs, you have to investigate, learn and research before you sign up.

Whatever you venture into, it is your own responsibility. It is your business. It is your money. So take time to learn it.

That’s why I said that online business in not for everyone. Because not all are willing to learn.. not all welcome this kind of risk.

You have to understand that online business come and go.

You have to be bold.

You have to take risk.

You have to accept that you CAN LOSE money.

But when you have OPENED YOUR MIND, you can REAP YOUR REWARDS.

If you find this post useful, please share it with your friends.

In joining any online business:
  • Invest only what you can afford to lose.
  • Get your capital back as early as possible. Reinvest the rest.
  • Before you join, investigate the program – the owner, its nature and     terms.
  • Set a limit to your investment in one program, no matter how big the returns is.
  • You don’t have to join every new program offered to you. Make your own judgement.
  • When you get scammed, get over it and move on.
  • Accept that no online business lasts a lifetime.
  • It’s only a matter of time before they become a scam.. either the owner runs with the money or the program just loses it popularity and dies.

There’s always risk when money is involved. If you are too attached to your money, then don’t invest.

It Takes Money, To Make Money

That’s right. Let that statement sink in, and then decide if you’ve got what it takes to make money online. From here, there are two paths…
1. Cop out – Decide that you can’t be bothered with anything that could be called “work.” You wanted to make millions from the comfort of your home. You thought it was as easy as buying a $9.99 domain, coming up with a played out name, theme, and slogan, and writing a few uneducated, ridiculous articles. You were dead wrong. Do not pass go. Proceed to the land of epic fail.
2. Rewire – Change the way you think. It’s not going to be easy, deal with it. Trash your old business plan, and use some sense in the new one.

But I Was Never Told…

It takes money, to make money. This is something you don’t hear a lot of A-lister tell you. Why? I don’t know. Maybe they don’t want you to lose hope. Maybe they’re afraid that if bloggers who have no money to spend (the majority of bloggers), quit blogging, then they might lose a good chunk of the traffic coming to their own site.

If the majority of people coming to your site want to learn about making money online, but have little to no money to spend, would it be in your best interest to tell them it can’t be done? Of course not.

Don’t get me wrong, there are people who have made it big without having any money to spend, but these cases are extremely rare. Not to mention, these people (who sometimes, have been trying for years) typically have unique, fresh, well-thought-out ideas; far from cookie cutter.

Just browsing through the blogosphere, I can tell you, well over 99% of the blogs I come across, are anything but unique. If you’re waiting for your big break to get rich quick, you’re probably wasting your life away.

Give Up?
So, is that it? Time to call it quits? It depends on the path you chose. If you’re ready to rewire, and get rid of the mindset (this is going to be easy) that perhaps some A-listers have endorsed across the net, then you stand a chance.

I believe that making money online is easier than the average person thinks it is. However too many bloggers underestimate the dedication required for providing quality, unique content that is marketed in a strategic manner.

In my opinion, this is a direct result of nonsense marketing that is promoted and overestimated on nearly every “make money online” blog I come across. Spending countless hours on MyBlogLog in an effort to recruit a few readers over the years is not productive. It is not effective. It is not efficient.

Do Not Read Below, If You’re Looking For The Easy Way Out

I’ll tell you what is productive. Getting a job, or a second job, working the night shift, for minimum wage if need be, so that you can save up some extra cash to get your new business plan rolling. I’m not talking about unreachable amounts of money. A few thousand, even a few hundred dollars to spend on your blog or any other online business, is really the key to a good start.
There I said it. It’s not easy. It’s not quick. It takes work. Now tell me, do you have what it takes to become successful?

If you’re still interested in making money online, there will be future articles dedicated to showing you what to spend your money on, improving the quality of your content, and how to find something unique.

For the rest of you, be thankful I was honest enough to save you the time and effort.

Money-Making Hobbies Worth Investing In

As unemployment figures are still high and money is tight, more people are finding new ways to make a bit of extra cash.

What better way to keep your bank happy than by turning a hobby into a new business venture? Having fun whilst making money has never been easier thanks to increasing online business resources and social media outlets.

Here are just five hobbies which have the potential to make money.

Baking

Have your cakes always been a hit with your family and friends?
Are you constantly asked to bake a cake or some bread for an event? People will pay a lot of money for a premium cake simply because they cannot do it themselves. If you are dab hand in the kitchen, why not turn your hobby into a profitable little business?
Make a business page on social networks to make people aware of your new venture and to drum up some sales. Be flexible with your cakes including designs and toppings as custom made cakes for special occasions are very popular.
You can also set up a stall at a local farmers market or food fair to sell your goods and expand your client list. Remember to take plenty of business cards.

Languages

Becoming a home tutor can be an easy way to make some extra cash. If you are bilingual, there will always be teaching opportunities available to you both in the UK (home tutoring and language schools) and abroad, teaching either English or another language.
Many people complete a TEFL course for a quick and easy way to get into teaching. Deals and discounts for these courses can be found online.

Music

If you are a skilled instrumentalist, there are a few money-making options which are available to you. You can take the traditional route by forming a band or play sessions for others or you can teach up and comers your skills by providing tutoring and classes.
All those years of practising in your bedroom can turn into a lifeline in times of need.

Arts and crafts

Being a creative person can pay off with a little perseverance and business know-how. Online stores such as Etsy are an excellent gateway to sell your stuff, from photographs and paintings to crocheted toys and home decorations.
Use social media sites such as Facebook and Twitter to share your business and land your first sales and do some research online to find out which trends are popular this year as well as which products do well and which struggle to take off.

Writing

If you love to travel to exciting and interesting places, why not write about it? Alternatively, if you have a niche hobby, you can turn your passionate ramblings into a blog.
If this blog does gain followers, you can then make money through advertising space to like-minded companies. Many blogging websites now offer a place for enthusiastic writers to share and sell their work largely for marketing purposes.
